Anyone Need A Lawyer?

Not a ton to report on this week, other than we’ve been super busy trying to crank through some of our recent weddings, etc. I’m a little behind on my Blog updates, but will try to get back into the swing of things this week! Tonight we had a quick shoot with Paul, who is headed to Philadelphia to work for a major law firm. Despite the serious look, Paul’s a super nice guy if you ever need a lawyer, and hope his new professional headshots will help him get a good start to building his clientel. Thanks, Paul, and good luck with things!

Future Ladies Man Shoot….

Had a fun shoot tonight with Brent & Carey, and of course the future “Mac Daddy” himself, Grant. As you can see, Grant is not only really well behaved for an 8 month old, but extremely photogenic already! We’d like to thank Brent, Carey, and Grant for making the trip out tonight, and hope you will enjoy the rest of the photos once they are complete. We should have everything completed and uplaoded for you shortly. Thanks again!

Back From Buffalo…….

After nearly 10 hours of round trip driving to Buffalo, we are back from another successful wedding! This week’s wedding was a celebration for Eric & Jamie, who clearly are really great people that love each other dearly. As always, we really enjoyed spending the day with them, and capturing the moments of their future history (it makes sense if you think about it for a minute :) Thanks to Eric, Jamie, and all the family and friends that attended – we should have photos online shortly for viewing & orering.

My New Wedding Slideshow Toy!

Oh, the anticipation hurts! 2 days left til she arrives……..

On a serious note, I’ve been dying to start doing photo slideshows at our weddings, so decided to pick up the new 17″ widescreen, Apple MacBook Pro. This baby is Looooaded with good stuff, power, and speed, and I can’t wait to start using it. What’s cool about this particular Mac, is that it’s razor thin and known for it’s amazing quality picture and sound. I’m hoping to get acclimated as quickly as possible, but who knows what learning a Mac will be like for me. I’m a lifelong PC user, so switching to Mac will be almost like learning another language at first. Good thing I’m a computer geek, I should be able to figure it out quickly (knock on wood)

Anyway, I’m really excited about the amazing presentations we’ll soon be able to offer our brides by having their very own, custom slideshow at their wedding reception, etc. Just one more reason to book a 2007 with us I guess! :)

Wood Carving Anyone?

That’s right… wood carving. We often have clients come over for portraits as a gift, but don’t want their loved ones to know. So…. they do what anyone would do, and make up some elaborate story about where they’re going. Our new friend, Nancy here, wanted to get some portaits done for her loving husband, but instead of going shopping, getting her hair or nails done, or something normal, she simply told her husband she was doing some wood carving with a friend! I haven’t decided what’s more funny – her story, or the fact that he bought it!

As you can see, Nancy is extremely bubbly and outgoing, and we had a lot of fun working with her today. We hope you and your husband will enjoy the photos from the day, and we should have them online within a few days for you to view & order. Thanks again, and good luck with your new wood carving hobby! (haha)
