Note to self:  “Stop booking 3 weddings in a row!”  :)

Jamaica and I are still in the midst of a 3-wedding marathon weekend and despite my exhaustion, am glad to know that we only have one more to get through.  I haven’t had much time to do anyting other than shoot, eat and try to get a little sleep these past couple days, but look forward to catching up on blog entries, emails and much needed rest next week.  Here’s a quick shot of the church we got to shoot in today…. one of my new all-time favs!

After a fun day with Matt & Lauren, Jamaica and I headed down to Poughkeepsie to the beautiful Grandview to shoot the wedding of Becky & Jeff.  With amazing views of the Hudson River, sunset and bridge, I had forgotten just how great the scenery was – a truly great place for a wedding!

This weekend was unique in the fact that both grooms were photographers – Jeff is a wedding photographer himself in the Atlanta area, so once again the pressure was on for this one!  (note to self: stop booking weddings for photographers :)  On a serious note, they were a really great couple to work with….. Becky is about the most easy going bride you will ever meet and I don’t think I saw her do anything but smile & laugh all night long to be honest.

Two back to back amazing weddings this weekend that I’m excited to report on.  After a late 2nd night last night, I’m still a bit out of it, but wanted to start banging some of these blog entries out so I can keep up with things. 

This wedding was a bit different than the weddings we normally cover and to be honest, it was such a nice change of pace and scenery.  In addition, Matt is very much into photography, so was surely watching and analyzing my every move….. photographing another photographer’s wedding is a whole new level of pressure that definitely creates some added stress (hopefully, we did okay! :)  This wedding was held out in the country on a beautiful private propery in Greenville, NY…. with various parts of the property laid out for getting ready, ceremony, coctail hour and reception, it was really amazing how it was set up.

Matt & Lauren are two really incredible people, and it was a lot of fun to work with them as well as their bridal party and family.  I seriously could have posted half the wedding on the blog, and had to hold back from posting even more images!  For those interested, you can pre-register your email at the link below for the online viewing and ordering site (usually up in about 30 days).
