Need to Know Where to Vote?

In my opinion, this is one of the most important elections of our time (despite the fact that I’m still not 100% sure what I’m doing just yet) – I wasn’t sure where to vote, and found this great website that tells you where to vote in your town or city based on your address – for those that aren’t sure where to go or need to register still, the link below will tell you all you need to know:

Steve - You don’t know who you’re voting for?!? How can you STILL be undecided? The choices are so very different.
This oversimplifies things but should help you on your way to a decision:

I’m voting Obama and I can’t wait to cast that vote. But either way, it’s time for research and decisions by everyone privileged enough to get a vote.October 27, 2008 – 11:48 pm

Matt Ramos - Hmmm…interesting post and site – thanks for posting!

Yes – STILL undecided. It’s like being forced to pick one of two women to marry, but you don’t love either one of them – it’s not as easy of a decision as you may think for some. This helped me to get closer to my decision though for sure, thanks.October 27, 2008 – 11:56 pm

Sincere Condolences…

Just a few weeks ago, Jamaica and I had the opportunity to photograph Becky and Jeff’s wedding down in Poughkeepsie.  We received a call last night that Becky’s grandfather had unfortunately passed away, and wanted to just post a quick note and offer our sincere condolences to both Becky & Jeff as well as their familes for their loss.  Their grandfather was a great man and had quite the sense of humor (I will believe it or not always remember him from the wedding) – here’s a quick family photo we’ll be donating to to the family.  Again, we are so sorry for your loss :(

Fall Collection – A Work in Progress…

Living in the Northeast & New York certainly has it’s disadvantages when it comes things like taxes, cold weather, etc, however one things for sure – year after year, you can always count on great colors from the Fall foliage!  (raking them is another story :)

Each year I do my best to try and add to my fall collection of images and really enjoy going out and trying to shoot new things as a work in progress - this is probably my most enjoyable thing to shoot on my own personal time.  Unfortunately, I have been so busy this year, I have not had the time I wish I had to go out on these personal shooting adventures.  When in doubt, there is always plan C, which is the backyard I suppose.  Here are a few quick shots I wanted to share as well as well as my new wallpaper for my 30″ Apple Cinema – if anyone would like a copy, let me know! :)

The smaller shots below are a few of my all-time favorite photos taken over the past few years – I hope to get a chance to get out and shoot a bit more, but am coming quickly to the realization that it may not happen this year.

This weekend, we are in Staten Island shooting the wedding of good friends and blog-stalkers’ Tom & Jamie… be sure to check back for updates!
