Glen Sanders Mansion & Their $1 Million Dollar Makeover!

The Glen Sanders Mansion (and it’s affiliate locations) is without a doubt, one of the highest ranked places to consider when choosing a wedding reception location. As if it wasn’t beautiful enough, Mazzone Management recently announced it will be investing $1 million dollars into their flagship location, which is sure to produce some stunning upgrades for couples and guests for weddings & dining. Those of you still looking around for your 2009 wedding or just starting for 2010, you may want to check them out and make an appointment with Maria! Here’s a quick article regarding the makeover for those interested…… we’ll be making a rare appearance this year (we don’t do many shows) at Glen Sanders for their annul 2009 bridal show, which is in January, with a few cool things/ideas I’ll be mentioning as we get a bit closer to that time (it’s top secret for now).

More Awesome Wedding Albums!

We received a few more batches of wedding albums in today from Italy, and wanted to post a quick couple of shots so you could see how good one of the sets came out (they all did, but just photographed this one for now). These will be shipping out to Lindsey in Gregg first thing tomorrow morning and am sure they will love them! This is has to be one of my all-time favorite covers, which was shot on the Carosel at the Canfield Casino the night of their wedding.

Haven’t got around to placing or thinking about your wedding album(s) yet? Now is a great time to come check em’ out and/or place your orders with us – we have some great stuff this year and super fast turnaround on them! (Oh and did I mention we have some great specials going on!?)

Awesome Wedding Albums!

I don’t always get a chance (or remember) to photograph all the wedding albums that come in and go right back out, but we received two shipments of albums today (for John & Nicole and Kimberly & John) that I thought I would take a few quick snapshots of. We offer lots of different album options, but one of our most popular is the luxury, Italian GS line, which are absolutely incredible in my opinion. Here are a few photos from todays batch (we have more coming in all week, so I may have to shoot a few more for you). It’s hard to ship these out as I always want to keep them for myself when I see them, but am sure the bride(s) & groom(s) are going love these – you are the first to see them though!

P.S. Did I mention that we design custom wedding albums for anyone, regardless of whether we shot their wedding or not? If you know someone that might be interested and has their disc of images, let em’ know! :)

Playing in the Backyard…

Not much to report on this week, so I’m doing my best to keep you occupied until our next “real” shoot! My friend Amy suggested that I should get a tripod (haha -only kidding, Amy!), so while grilling my steak in the dark, I decided to play around with some moonlight shots in the backyard. This was roughly a 6-7 minute exposure that I thought came out kind of cool. Ok, I have to go eat my steak now. :)

Up for Grabs – Canon EOS 5D 12.8 Megapixel Digital SLR…..

I don’t normally use the blog to sell things, so I’m sorta wandering in uncharted waters on this one. So…… to make room for the new 5D Mark II’s, we are selling some of our current cameras (1DsII & this) if anyone is interested in getting a good deal on a new cam! Not to mention a great Christmas gift, I will throw in a free personal SLR lesson from yours truly to the buyer (you know that’s worth more than the camera!! :)

Up for grabs is a slightly used (very rarely though!) Canon EOS 5D Digital SLR (12.8 megapixel) Camera. These are currently selling new for over $2,000 and used for $1,500 (see here) ….. I’m going to basically give this away at a ridiculous price, so if anoyone is interested, feel free to email me directly (matt@mattramosphotography.com). I also have the pro battery grip which gives you a second shutter for vertical shooting and extended battery life (see photos).

Here are a few photos so you can see the merchandise….. by the way, I took these photos a few minutes ago myself, so you are looking at the actual camera, not some magazine or online version of it! When you buy a professional quality SLR they normally do not come with lenses…… If you don’t have a lens, I may have one to go with it as a starter lens as well. Did I mention, I’ll be happy to give free SLR lessons with it? Ready. Set. Go!
