Superbowl

Wow, what an amazing superbowl last night – even though I’m not a die hard fan for either team, I can’t say I remember enjoying a superbowl with such an amazing finish!  I’m posting a test show from the new Hulu website where you can watch tv shows and movies, which is really cool…. here’s the latest office (the entire episode I think)…. great stuff! :)

Jamie Lynn - You rock – Our TIVO truncated the last few minutes because the Superbowl coverage ran late. Now Tom doesn’t have to download it :-)February 3, 2009 – 6:22 pm

Matt Ramos - Glad to be of assistance… this is actually one of the better episodes and caught myself actually laughing outloud by myself a couple times (a true sign of when something is pretty funny) – enjoy!

P.S. The best part is Michael Scott when he’s giving CPR to the dummy… hysterical!February 3, 2009 – 6:25 pm

Jamie Lynn - I haven’t seen the full thing, but I loved the part when Andy screamed, “The fire is shooting at us!”February 3, 2009 – 6:43 pm

Congratulations, Jennifer & Greg! Inn at Erlowest Wedding

We officially kicked off the first wedding of 2009 last night, by celebrating and documenting the wedding of Jennifer and Greg.  More and more couples are starting to look at winter weddings, which is not only a beautiful time of year, but probably a way to save a few bucks by getting great deals from venues and vendors!  The challenge, however is that it’s obviously cold and does get dark early compared to the long light of the summer.

Believe it or not, we were contacted just two weeks ago by Jen & Greg, who were looking to just have 2-3 hours of coverage for some family portraits, etc.  (we don’t normally do this, but really liked the couple so was glad to have the opportunity to shoot with them).  This was also my first time shooting at the beautiful Inn at Erlowest which lies on the Lake George shore and offers stunning views of the lake and incredible service and food.  I hope to work here again and can only image how nice it must be here at the spring or fall – it definitely is a wonderful location for those looking for a fantastic place to get married (you could do the entire thing right here, and not have to have your guests travel at all).  I’ve posted a few extra photos of the location so you can get a good look at what it’s like inside and out.  I’d also like to give a huge thanks and props to stylist/makeup artist extrordinare, Alayne Curtiss of Make Me Fabulous.  Alayne is truly magical at what her and her team do and it’s always such a treat to work with her (Jen doesn’t need much to look beautiful, but with Alayne’s touch, she was truly a breathtaking bride).

I really enjoyed shooting this wedding and was a terrific way to start off the 2009 season.  With just under 50 people, it was very intimate and Jen & Greg really made it about their love and a celebration between the closest of family and friends…. their DJ was an Apple iPod, who also did a great job and played such great songs.  A huge thanks and congratulations to Jennifer & Greg as well as their family and friends for allowing us to document such a special day.  For those interested, you can click the link below to pre-register your email to receive notification of when images go live for viewing & ordering:
