Another one of the hot new couples we’ll be working with this year is Sarah & Russ, who I had the opportunity to hang out with this week up at Sacandaga Lake. Russ is a State Trooper, and took some time to loosen up, but the good news is I made it out of their without getting arrested :) On a serious note, it was great to hang out with them for a bit in an awesome setting on the water and really look forward to shooting the big day with them this August. Here’s a few shots from our session….. their pride & joy, Kane, even made it in a few shots. Thanks guys!

It was my absolute pleasure this weekend to photograph one of my favorite weddings of the year, and with some of my closest of friends – Tom & Carla, who wed at the beautiful Mohawk River Country Club. Tom and I have known each other for about 10 years now, and believe it or not, used to work together just as the photography was becoming more and more serious…. in fact, I used to walk around the office with my camera back then getting made fun of – who could have guessed I would shoot Tom’s wedding 8 or 9 years ago – not me.
It’s a great feeling seeing one of your great friends get married, and knowing they landed one of the most amazing girls you will ever meet, only sweetens the pot. I had the opportunity to meet Carla for the first time a few months ago as Tom introduced me to her as his fiance… you seriously could not find a more beautiful person inside & out for Tom, which made this wedding very special for me to shoot – Tom, you are one lucky man my friend :)
It’s always a bit stressful when you go to a wedding, knowing there are rain & thunderstorm clouds hanging over you, waiting to burst open at any minute (especially, when it’s an outdoor ceremony). Tom & Carla were so positive despite these conditions, and even though it started pouring 5 minutes after the ceremony, it was truly and amazing day – and thank God, it stopped a bit later so we could get a few shots. I want to sincerely thank Tom & Carla as well as their friends and family for allowing us to be a part of such an important day in their lives – I’m so excited to share the photos from the day, I seriously could have posted them all!

P.S. Huge props to DJ extraordinaire, Fermando of Piano Man, who was unbelievable – I seriously have never seen so many people on a dance floor in my life!

it’s a long story, but just know that this will be one of Carla’s favorite photos of the wedding – lol

Matt!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, your work is unreal!! Tom and I were hunting down computers in Aruba to check the site but couldn’t. From the parnents of the groom you matt have mannage to capture love in still form I showed teaser pitcures to neigbors and friends they were in awe of the pitctures them selves but the captivation of the love that you brought through your lense was remarkble. can’t wait to see entire wedding photos. One of the hot new couples getting married this August are Jennifer & Ian, who are getting married in Mass this August. I was lucky enough to finally get to meet them tonight and already can’t wait to shoot the wedding. We grabbed a few engagement shots in the park just before it got dark (where the dogs would bark – just kidding). Anyway, I had a lot of fun with them and am very much looking forward to their big day! I wanted to quickly share a few shots from our session tonight…..
