At last, I’m just about caught up with my blog entries just before this weekend’s upcoming wedding in Massachusetts with Jenn & Ian! I’m not sure whether I’m posting more photos or what compared to what I used to, but it seems I spend nearly 2-3 hours just to do a simple blog entry these days…. hopefully 1 or 2 people actually read and look at this stuff or the joke’s on me! :)
Ok – here goes…. last weekend I got yet another chance to break out of the Capital Region to shoot someplace unique – Bard College! I had shot here before a few years ago with my good friends Tim & Kristin and loved it, however had not been back since. This wedding was with Alyssa & Nick, and yet another really great couple to work with (I realize I say this about everybody, however I am just so lucky to meet and work with such amazing people – this is truly one of the things I love about my job most!) After an amazing ceremony in what must have been the darkest church I have ever shot in, we headed down to the gardens to shoot a few photos before heading up to the reception. I love the gardens here, and truth is, could probably spend half a day shooting there if only I had the time – we were under a tight deadline, but definitely enjoyed being there again…. I hope to go back soon, so let me now if anyone wants to get married near the college :)
Below you’ll find a few samples from my day with Nick & Alyssa and for those interested, you can pre-register your email at the link below to receive notification of when images go live in about 3-4 weeks. A huge thanks and congratulations to the newly married couple…. be sure to leave them some of your love & comments below as I’m sure they’ll be checking this out in the near future!

P.S. Lots more weddings coming up and I have enough blog entries to drive myself insane with coming, so stay tuned and check back often! FYI… for more behind the scenes photos and faster sneak peeks of our work and projects you can join me on facebook at www.facebook.com/mattramos.

I may be wrong here, but believe this church was built back in the 1700′s? Lots of character for sure!

it’s official!

I wasn’t sure which version I liked better, so you’re getting them both!
