When you shoot over 40 weddings in a year, I’ll be honest – your brain & creativity can sometimes go to mush and it’s exhausting towards the end of the cycle. For this reason, the last wedding of the season is always bittersweet in terms of balancing that with the fact you want to go out with a bang…. in many ways the last wedding is more pressure than the first simply because it is your final seal of your work that year. Luckily, it was an awesome wedding and feel great knowing that not only did we get fantastic images of the day, but now I also get a much needed breather until the next wedding! (which is going to be amazing since my wife is due to deliver our twins any day now and will get the time to enjoy the experience!) By the way, I want to give a very special thanks to my good friend, Niki Rossi, who went above and beyond and shot with us on this wedding for a bit as a backup in case my wife went into labor… what an amazing friend and can’t thank her enough for her support :)
Erika & Matt were great to work with as well as their entire family and bridal party – considering how cold it was outside, I was expecting some dirty looks and attitude perhaps (only kidding), but they were all such troopers – this makes life easy, and I have to say – smaller bridal parties are definitely the way to go to keep it simple, quick & easy! (hint, hint) A few that I would like to give some thanks and credit for helping make this wedding great were:
Hampton Inn, Saratoga Springs – in my opinion the best hotel to get ready in
Kim Ryan & the Classe Catering team – amazing food and service as always :)
Garland & his band Soul Session – those looking for a band have no idea how amazing these guys are – check em out!

Congrats again to Erika & Matt and hope you guys have a blast on your well deserved honeymoon! As for me, I’m done shooting weddings til January, but will be working around the clock to get caught up on all those weddings that have yet to be released. While I won’t have many more posts coming as far as weddings are concerned, stay tuned for photos and the announcement of our new twin babies are will soon be born – then you will see some serious photos! :)
