I have now officially made 591 blog posts, and while this may not be the best post as far as the photos are concerned, it’s certainly the one that means the most to me in terms of my personal life…..
It’s now official…… as of 6:51 & 6:53 am on December 4th, I became a proud father of our beautiful new twin babies! (Christian Matthew Ramos & Noelle Elizabeth Ramos) Our story of how we got to this point is one that should have made it’s own TLC TV documentary, but after what has been some of the most challenging months of my wife and my life, we are so happy to have reached the finish line and be gifted with the opportunity to be a mom & dad of such beautiful and healthy children – I’ve seen and accomplished quite a bit in my life already at an early age, but I can honestly say this week has been by far the most amazing experience I have ever nor will ever have in my life. I’ve never felt so much joy, fear, pride, accomplishment & exhaustion all at once – I’m still on cloud 9 and held off on this blog entry for a few days to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
I won’t go into all the details publicly, however after becoming pregnant my wife was put on bed rest at around 20 weeks for a total of 3 1/2 months in bed, which the last month and a half was spent in the hospital. It’s been one of the hardest things we have ever had to go through and our entire lifestyles had to be turned inside out an upside down to get through this extremely tough period of missing each other, daily trips to the hospital (including Thanksgiving dinner bedside), and doing my best to keep up with our business with a pregnant wife that all the while lie in the hospital….. I’m so proud of my wife for what she has gone through and endured over these past few months to have our babies and I can’t tell you how happy I am to not only have her back home, but also be new proud parents at the same time – I could not ask for a greater blessing or Christmas gift! Lots of photos to come, but wanted to post a few quick snapshots of Christian & Noelle.
Also – thanks to all our family and friends for all their support while we have had to go through one of the toughest and most enduring years of my life, I couldn’t be more thankful of your support and our rewards! :)
