Danielle & Dan / Hall of Springs Wedding – Saratoga Springs

Now that Spring is officially here, it’s pretty much go time in terms of the main wedding season – I have an awesome lineup of clients to work with this year and am really excited after a bit of a break to get right back in the action.  Despite a forecast calling for rain, Danielle & Dan made out pretty well with dry skies and a beautiful wedding at St. Mary’s Church, followed by their reception at none other than the Hall of Springs.  The Hall is one of my favorite places to shoot and the staff, service & food are incredible all around!  I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple, bridal party & family to work with and it was also great to see previous clients, Ashley & Rich from last year!

Rather than me writing a novel, let’s get to the images, but I first want to make sure I thank and give recognition to the amazing team that took part in this wedding and helped to make it such a fantastic event:

Alayne Curtiss – Make Me Fabulous (I swear this woman cold make a corpse look hot if she wanted to)
The Floral Garden – Floral Arrangements
New York Players – One of the hottest bands in NY – amazing job rocking the house as always!
Christine Wheat Events – The head honcho, planner extraordinaire who ran yet another flawless event :)

A huge thanks to everyone involved and especially Danielle & Dan, who are on their way to Africa as we speak for an amazing honeymoon.  Here are some images I wanted to share from their wedding.  I’m sure they would  LOVE some comments and love below as they will be checking this out as soon as they can!  For those interested, you can also pre-register your email at the link below to receive notification of when images go live for online viewing & ordering:

The Wedding Album / Matt Ramos Photography

Aside from the relationship (of course), the wedding album is without a doubt, one of the most important things that comes from a wedding.  We are in the process of shooting tons of images for our brand new website, which will launch in just a few weeks, and wanted to share a few images of some of the albums we offer (shot specifically for the website) – those of you that have not placed your orders, now is the time!  FYI – we design wedding albums for any client no matter who the photographer was – contact us for more information if you need help :)

Missy & James / Saratoga Springs Engagement Photos

First and foremost, I apologize for being “absent” for lack of a better term from the blog…. with the main wedding season approaching within the next week or two, I’m sure to keep you busy with loads and loads of blog posts from pretty much now until the end of the year, so stay tuned!  We are also getting ready to launch or brand new website in just a few weeks, so between that and the blog, there will be plenty of fresh stuff!

So, after taking a bit of a break from shooting (and juggling sleep & life with my new father of twins role), I finally had a chance to get back out in the field and shoot this week.  Missy and James are one of the hot new couples that we’ll be shooting with on their wedding day this year, and we took advantage of the fantastic weather in Saratoga this weekend to shoot some engagement photos.  As you can see, Missy & James are doing ok in the looks department – it doesn’t get much easier when a couple is as fun, in love & photogenic as they are!  For those of you that have either not yet scheduled your engagement session, I would highly recommend doing it this week as our schedule is absolutely jam packed this year with weddings and projects!

I leave you with a few samples from our session together – a huge thanks to Missy & James for being so much fun and easy to work with – looking forward to the upcoming wedding.

P.S. Stay tuned for lots of upcoming weddings and shoots I’ll be posting!
