Beth and Troy were another one of those couples that I immediately clicked with within the first 3 minutes of meeting them.  They both have such a great sense of humor and personality, and I immediately knew I would love working with them.  When Beth & Troy booked their wedding at the Hall of Springs, they had no idea the day would later fall on a Phish concert weekend and that they would spend their wedding day with thousands of rowdy (yet fun) Phish fans.  This was one of the most challenging, yet fun weddings I have ever shot trying to work around and in between all the fans, and I will definitely never forget this one (as I’m sure Beth & Troy won’t either lol).  I would imagine 90% of the brides out there would have freaked if they had to deal with all the fans everywhere, but Beth & Troy were such troopers and used the experience to have fun – I respect their ability to make the very best of the situation!  Despite some of the challenges, it was an awesome day and I love some of the images we were able to capture.

a little background info on this photo:  there we literally hundreds of people congratulating and cheering for Beth & Troy while we attempted to get a few photos of the two of them (it was nearly impossible).  I summoned a few people over to hop in the photo, and they just kept coming and coming…. had we waited another minute or two, we probably would have had hundreds in the photo.  This is hands down one of my favorite photos from the day – thanks to all the insane Phish fans that made this photo so much fun :)

I’m doing my best to keep up with blog entries, but as of late the twins have been getting the best of me, so please bare with me on being “tardy” in terms of blog entries.  Last weekend we shot another awesome Canfield Casino wedding with Jessica & Matt who had their entire wedding (ceremony & reception) right at the Canfield Casino – I really dig the indoor setup here and this is a great idea for those wanting an indoor, non-church, Saratoga wedding.  As all the rest I’ve had the opportunity to work with this year, Jess & Matt were fantastic to work with and had a great time hanging out with them for the day.  Special thanks to Long Fellows Catering and Jeff Richards of Piano Man DJ for making it an awesome night!

Caryn & Greg were another one of my 2010 couples I really enjoyed working with – despite the unlikely weather conditions, not even the rain could could keep these guys from smiling and having fun on their wedding day (just the way it should  be).  After shooting at as sweet bed & breakfast location in Saratoga (by the way, this is the absolute best way to go in my opinion), we headed over for a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s church and then off to the Saratoga Polo Club for an awesome reception with one of my favorite DJ’s, Fernando of Piano Man DJ!  Overall, and awesome day, awesome couple and awesome party all around.  Here are a few samples from the day, for those interested, you can pre-register your email for online viewing & ordering at the link below.  Congrats again to Caryn & Greg!
