Frank DiMeo - Matt your work is always fabulous but these are off the wall! Good food photography is supposed to make the viewer want to eat the food. These must be excellent because my mouth hasn’t stopped watering and I can’t think of anything else since I saw them. Without a doubt, Jen & Paul’s wedding was one of the biggest weddings our team has ever taken on, and a wedding that I’m extremely proud to share. 10 hours of non-stop shooting, 3 photographers, and a total of close to 7,000 images shot…. exhausting, but an absolutely amazing day for everyone involved, especially Paul and Jen! :)

I could seriously post the entire wedding on the blog, so you’ll have to forgive me, but I’m going all out on this one since we shot so many images from the day and lots of good stuff I wanted to show – I’m trying to figure out what was more work, the 10 hour wedding or this blog entry, lol. Jen & Paul, along with their entire family and bridal party were so great to work with (I wish it was always that simple) and I’d like to thank everyone for their cooperation and trusting me and allowing us to do our thing and go with the flow. There were also several people involved in this wedding that it’s very important that I give thanks and credit to. Here are the list of top wedding professionals that made a HUGE impact:

Thanks to everyone!! Jen and Paul are surely sipping Margaritas right now someplace with their feet up and swimming in the ocean, but I wanted to share a piece of their big day with everyone. Glenville Dental – Albany Business & Lifestyle Headshots

I had another opportunity this week to take a break from the wedding scene to shoot some lifestyle and headshot images for Glenville Dental out of Scotia, who is working on a great new website coming soon! I think more and more businesses are starting to realize that having not only a professional website, but great images can go a long way when it comes to a consumer or patient making a decision where they want to do business. Dr. Sandmann and his entire staff were a lot of fun to hang out with (probably the most fun I’ve ever had in a dentist office since…….. forever?) I can’t wait to see the finalized website and I think many of the photos we got will make a dramatic improvement to the website. Here are a few quick samples I wanted to share…. I also want to give a huge thanks to one of my favorite stylists, Amy Elizabeth, who did an awesome job helping folks to look their best (and maybe impress their husbands when they got home?)

One of our hottest new albums we are now offering is the Kiss album, which packs quite a punch with it’s plush leather, seamless binding, thick pages and amazing overall quality! They come in various colors of leather based on preference, and I decided to order a new show album for our studio in brown, which I just had to blog about to show you how nice these truly are. Congratulations Jennifer & Ian! Berkshires Mass Wedding

Despite it being probably one of the hottest days of the summer to shoot a wedding on, it couldn’t have been a more amazing day for Jenn & Ian to tie the knot. I’ve been traveling more this year than any year before to shoot weddings, and am really enjoying mixing it up with different scenery from the usual (nothing against Saratoga, but I get bored quickly) – this one was held in Pittsfield, Mass, so took a little road trip in the morning to spend the day.

I first had the opportunity to meet Ian & Jenn just a month and a half ago to shoot some engagement photos together and immediately clicked with them…. they are such a cool couple and about as easy going as it gets – even with a huge bridal party, they were so easy & fun to work with. Jenn is already a pretty girl, but she made such a beautiful bride and certainly made my job easy that’s for sure! (by the way, I want all you future brides out there to take note of how she smiles with her eyes – there is not one photo of her that you cannot clearly see what a genuine, compassionate & loving person she is inside and out).

I want to take a second to thank the family and bridal party yesterday for being so accommodating and allowing us to take part in such a special day.
