I’ll start by apologizing for being a bit behind on my normal upkeep with the blog! I took a couple weeks off to relax and enjoy the holidays and am now back in the full swing of 2009… I’ll do my best to keep up from now on :)
Today, I had the chance to shoot for good friends, John & Donna and their beautiful daughters Jordan & Karli. John and Donna are local entrepreneurs and founders of their very successful business, Sticky Fingers Apples. I have watched John and Donna start their business from the ground up, starting just over a year or two ago, and now sell hundreds and hundreds of apples each month on a national level. They have recently sold apples to major sports teams in the NFL, accept major wedding orders, and were featured in their own segment on Fox 23 News…. I’d say they are doing quite well! Aside from making some of the most amazing candy apples and other goodies you have ever tasted, they are really such good people and awesome to do business with. To be honest, I wish they would just find another photographer to shoot their products, since I always end up eating stuff I shouldn’t :)
John and Donna have added some new stuff to their menu, which is why we shot some updated photos for their website (and a new family portrait). Those of you that are getting married and want to try something different, I would suggest contacting them about doing a dessert spread for you (I promise your guests will go nuts). I asked John and Donna if they would give me my own promo code to offer our blog readers for a discount, and of course they were happy to do so!
You can check out their website at www.stickyfingersapples.com, Here’s a few samples of what they offer and be sure to check em out for all their mouth watering options. If you think these photos look good, you should taste the stuff – unbelievable!
P.S. For you photography fanatics, I shot these images with the new Canon 5D Mark II camera and am pretty impressed with the quality of the images this thing can throw out.

(Here’s a quick shot of Jamaica doing his famous lighting test before the shoot – Haha!)
