Sawicki 10 Year Anniversary

I recently had the distinct honor and privilege to shoot the 10 year anniversary photos for my good friends, Jen & Chris Sawicki. Chris (& Jen) have quite a success story, and one of the biggest names in the Capital Region when it comes to creative images (especially his senior portrait, model & wedding work). I have really enjoyed getting to know Chris over the past few years and proud to call him a good friend (I’m also extremely pleased to have Chris on our wedding team). I was both slightly stressed, yet extremely honored when I was asked to photograph their 10 year anniversary images for them last year (it’s not exactly easy when you have to photograph an amazing photographer). We recently had our shoot and couldn’t be more pleased with some of the awesome images we were able to create to document this important milestone in their lives and marriage. Jen is stunningly beautiful, and the two together were amazing to work with.

Chris is known for his amazing lighting and dramatic work – I decided to try and give him a taste of his own medicine ;)

Katie & Dave / Sunset Engagement @ Historic Barns of Nipmoose

Katie & Dave are a couple I feel very lucky to have met and worked with. I won’t be photographing their wedding (huge bummer), but had an amazing time with them shooting some incredible engagement photos out at the Historic Barns of Nipmoose. After several attempts to shoot and lots of rescheduled dates, it was due or die on the third attempt, and yet another seemingly doomed/rainy day – we decided to go for it anyway, and there was no turning back, rain or shine to complete the session. Upon arriving and shooting for awhile, the clouds just seemed to move away and the most incredible sunset and light I’ve ever seen came out of the clouds at the very end… truly an amazing experience for a photographer that can spend years trying to find such incredible light when actually working with a couple and need it. I loved hanging out wit Katie & Dave and am so pleased with some of the images were were able to create to celebrate and document such an amazing time in their lives. I wanted to post a few samples of our session together… thank you Katie & Dave for being so easy to work with – all the best to you guys! ;)

Christine & Dave / Saratoga Springs Engagement Session
