As you can see from the blog, I haven’t had much to report or share as of late, however soon enough I’ll have more blog entries than you can handle with the 2010 main wedding season quickly approaching! I wanted to remind all those couples out there that have not yet contacted us about their wedding album, that now is a great time too get going on things and we are glad to help. Also – a quick reminder to folks that we offer professional album design for even couples who’s wedding we didn’t shoot :) Here are a few sample from some of our new sample albums to hopefully get you in the mood!

I learned today that were voted one of the best photographers for Upstate, NY by the Knot….. I have no idea how the voting works for this as I had no idea we were even being considered, but none the less, are very excited and honored to have made the list :)

Before I start, I want to apologize for being gone from the blog for so long…. becoming a new father of twins has been an amazing experience, but it hasn’t been as easy to make the investments in the blog, etc that I’ve wanted to since my hands are a bit tied. I’ll do my best to keep!
Now I can see where and how a post like this can get me into a bit of trouble or possibly offend someone, so if one of your wedding images was not selected for this post, please don’t be upset with me – I originally wanted to post the top 10 photos (we took an office vote on these between 4 of us by the way so you know how they were selected), but it soon became the top 20, to the top 25, and ended up being the top 30. There were so many incredible images from 2009, I seriously could have posted over a 100 of the top stuff, but needed to draw the line somewhere. So…. without further due, these are some of the top photos of 2009 that I wanted to share and a few that are definitely in the top 5 or 10 of any wedding we have ever shot. I opted not to do any voting on these this year, but just wanted to share them – congrats to those that had their images selected!

Without a doubt, Jen & Paul’s wedding was one of the biggest weddings our team has ever taken on, and a wedding that I’m extremely proud to share. 10 hours of non-stop shooting, 3 photographers, and a total of close to 7,000 images shot…. exhausting, but an absolutely amazing day for everyone involved, especially Paul and Jen! :)
I could seriously post the entire wedding on the blog, so you’ll have to forgive me, but I’m going all out on this one since we shot so many images from the day and lots of good stuff I wanted to show – I’m trying to figure out what was more work, the 10 hour wedding or this blog entry, lol. Jen & Paul, along with their entire family and bridal party were so great to work with (I wish it was always that simple) and I’d like to thank everyone for their cooperation and trusting me and allowing us to do our thing and go with the flow. There were also several people involved in this wedding that it’s very important that I give thanks and credit to. Here are the list of top wedding professionals that made a HUGE impact:
April Rounds – Owner of Details Wedding Planning
Alayne Curtiss – Owner of Make Me Fabulous (and boy did she make Jen look fabulous!)
Classe Catering – Amazing job as usual – the Canfield Casino has never looked so good – wow!
The New York Players – 2 back to back weddings with these guys, and they absolutely rocked it both nights!
and of course my team (Jessica Bruce & John Williams (Jamaica) for an outstanding job
Thanks to everyone!! Jen and Paul are surely sipping Margaritas right now someplace with their feet up and swimming in the ocean, but I wanted to share a piece of their big day with everyone. I’m sure they will be checking this out from their honeymoon suite, so be sure to leave them lots of love and comments below for them to check out when they have time!
